Local Government Infrastructure Designation (LGID) - Council Depot sites

A review of the City of Gold Coast's (City) operations and accommodation indicated the opportunity to consolidate accommodation and redevelop City operational depots to provide more efficient services and access to all areas of the Gold Coast through expansion of Regional Depots and Satellite Depots.

The purpose of these depots is to enable efficient and effective servicing and maintenance of City-owned community assets. Due to Gold Coast’ linear geographic layout, numerous depots that are distributed spatially in regional city centres are required. This consultation will specifically focus on the infrastructure upgrades and use of the following City sites: Benowa, Coombabah, Miami, Tugun and Carrara.
