Gold Coast City Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan - Notice of Public Exhibition

Gold Coast City Council (GCCC) is responsible for providing water, recycled water and sewerage services to customers across the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast City Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan contains information on:

  • the current water and sewerage infrastructure and its capacity
  • planned capacity increases to infrastructure
  • water and sewerage demand management
  • connections to water and sewerage
  • water and sewerage charges and infrastructure charges
  • the standard of service and outcomes of water and sewerage services

Update and report
The consultation period for the Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan was 4 March - 12 April 2013. A report was prepared for the Water Services Committee on 24 April 2013, the report is available here. Council adopted the Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan, following this, Council submitted the plan to the relevant Queensland Government Minister in May 2013.

Pending comments from the Minister, Council will now move towards adopting the final plan in June prior to the 1 July 2013 deadline as required by State Government legislation.
