Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan

This consultation has now closed.

The City of Gold Coast (City) is responsible for providing water, recycled water and sewerage services to customers across the Gold Coast.


In July 2013, the City adopted the Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan (Part A) following public exhibition and endorsement by the Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning.

Since then the following amendments have been made to the Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan (Part A) as described below:

  1. Incorporation of the Water Supply and Sewerage Infrastructure Plan 2014 which supports the City Plan 2015. The Water Supply and Sewerage Infrastructure Plan 2014 will replace the water and sewerage component of the Priority Infrastructure Plan. The water and sewerage component of the Priority Infrastructure Plan will be removed from the City Plan 2015.
  2. Updates to the Gold Coast Water Network Connection Policy (including the addition of future connection areas maps); and
  3. Changes to the document structure and updates to content, such as updated asset information.

  1. Address your submission (via post) to Water and Sewerage Network Services Plan Submission, City of Gold Coast, PO Box 5042, QLD 9729; or
  2. Deliver your submission in person to a Customer Service Counter in Bundall or Nerang's City of Gold Coast Offices (see above address).
