NaturallyGC

NaturallyGC workshops and activities are for people interested in connecting with and exploring our city’s wonderful natural environment. The workshops cover a range of environmentally based activities from guided bushwalks, kayaking, wildlife shows, tree planting, coastal education, native gardening, nature photography and more. You can also discover our best natural area parks to visit and check out ideas to keep the kids busy, active and exploring our natural environment.

Beaches to Bushland Landcare

Come and make a difference and join the Beaches to Bushland Landcare program. Volunteering in a bushcare or landcare group is a rewarding way to make a difference to your local natural environment. The program provides a platform for the local community to foster a connection with their environment, and encourages active community involvement and ownership of our natural assets through hands on activities such as tree planting and environmental weed control.

  • Australia's Largest Green Army Planting Project

    The City of Gold Coast partnered with Conservation Volunteers Australia and the federal government Green Army program to undertake a large planting project along Mudgeeraba Creek. The project included the planting of 12,000 native trees within Robina City Parklands and undertaking environmental weed control works across 3 hectares of land.
